We had signed up for a fall 2012 walking tour of the Cotswolds and Cornwall in England. Knowing that we really needed to prepare for this outing, we finally got serious about the Newcomers' hiking group. There are so many wonderful trails around Lexington. I don't usually take my camera because, as Jim says, when I do our mileage really goes down. Nevertheless I will certainly have my camera with me in England so perhaps that is appropriate preparation as well.
Once we returned from England, we continued our hikes with this congenial group.
