On my morning walk I saw very many flowers -- some natives. Many I have only tentatively identified.

Forget-me-not

Forget-me-nots were plentiful along the roadways. Although pretty, they are not native and are considered invasive.

Columbine Columbine, on the other hand, is a native plant favored by hummingbirds.

Lilac

We were too early for the lilac festival, but there were numerous plants blooming.

This one may either be a white lilac or a meadowsweet. The leaves look like lilac, the flowers look like meadowsweet. Lilacs have four petals and this has five.

Serviceberry

I'm not certain, but this shrub may be a serviceberry. We saw it all over the Upper Peninsula.

Wild Geranium

The flower looks like a wild geranium. The leaves, not so much. Haven't been able to match it up with anything.
