All fun trips must end and we are usually eager to return home. This was no exception.
Our flight left early the next morning. This view of the fog and smoke in the mountains of eastern Oregon was a fitting farewell to a beautiful part of the country.
We arrived back at Dulles early enough to make the 3+ hour drive home that same day. It was a wonderful trip.
This picture wasn't actually taken after arriving home -- it was taken in the spring. But the day after we got back from Oregon I was out riding my horse Cookie. The main purpose of travel is to appreciate what we have every day!
