I'm always on the lookout for interesting plants, but we didn't get to see many on this trip. Most of our time was either spent in the dunes, where there were few plants, or in cities, where the landscaping consisted primarily of petunias, geraniums and marigolds. Fine plants all, but I didn't get any shots of them.

Succulants

These succulents with star-shaped flowers were located throughout the property. It looks like some kind of iceplant.

Trumpet flowers

I haven't been successful finding out the name of this plant.

Tree

This is an acacia. The flowers were glowing in the setting sun.

Rose

As noted earlier roses are a cash crop in the Jebel Al Akhdar and they were well represented in the hotel landscaping. Unlike here in the US, many of the roses were fragrant.
