We participated in an astonishing four excursions in 1985, traveling from Maryland to Virginia to West Virginia. I've also included a visit to the Georgetown Branch in DC. I can't find the original slides/photos at this time to see when it was, so I've put it here for convenience. Each has its own page.

John Hankey, at the time the historian of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, led all these excursions. Joe Nevin, who eventually stepped into his footsteps as leader, assisted. Hankey is still leading similar tours for other organizations and Nevin is still leading railroad-themed excursions for the Smithsonian.
